The five guest rooms of The Old Point Inn are based on a theme reflected in the name given to each room.
Paul and Julie have lived in numerous countries and have collected objets d’art from around the world. These are artistically displayed in the rooms and throughout the Inn.
All 5 rooms have central AC, heat, Wireless Internet and Cable TV. The Old Point Inn reserves the right to cancel a booking with 30 days prior notice, offering a full refund of all monies paid.
The Sultan's Room
This spacious room is uniquely decorated with antique copper side tables, Persian rugs, an armoire, and silver hamam mirrors. The King size wrought iron bed was hand made in Istanbul. The room overlooks a lush garden, has a private dressing area
and shower.

The Wedding Gift Room
The Wedding Gift House, as the Inn is known in Beaufort, was built
in 1898 by William Waterhouse for his bride to be, Isabelle Richmond. This romantic and cozy room with a skylight and Queen size bed captures the mood
Waterhouse intended. Located on the 3rd floor, the room has a small ensuite
bathroom with a shower.

The Seafarer Room
This 3rd floor room has the only Eyebrow window in Beaufort. In addition it has two skylight windows which give this room an open and airy feel. Gaze at the stars at night from the comfortable King size bed, in a
nautical low country setting. Ensuite is a small private bathroom with a
shower.

The Old World Room
You might imagine that you are in Europe in this room furnished with
antiques from Poland. The Four Poster King size bed creates a truly romantic
ambiance, and ensures a peaceful night's sleep. Direct access to the verandah gives
guests a private retreat in natural surroundings with a great view of the
Intracoastal Waterway. The room has a newly renovated bathroom with a steam shower.

The Safari Room
This room is not for the faint hearted. The King size bed is adorned with a mosquito net to capture the mood. The room is literally a museum with African sculptures, masks, an ostrich egg, a hand carved ebony birthing chair and many more indigenous African hand crafted artifacts. The room has
a private detached large bathroom with a bathtub/shower.
